Who's a fan!
I got into the In Death books back in january, and ever since, I've been hooked. The stories do get a little predictable from time to time, but I love the fictional world.
In Death is a series of stories set in New York in 2058. The books follow Lutennent Eve Dallas, top murder cop as she hunts down the skum of the city.
Which one is your favorite book?
I have most of the books Narrated by Susan Ericson who reads for the commercial version. I don't like the NLS readers too much. I'm missing several stories narrated by her though. the CD's on amazon are about 20 bucks a pop. Has anyone seen them cheaper? I'd love to get hold of the rest. ;)
Purity in Death and Fantasy in Death are probably two of my favorites, simply because of the method of murder.
I love this series. I put off starting it for a long time because I don't generally like science fiction. But several people finally talked me into trying the series, and I was hooked after the first book. I do like Martha Harmon Pardee who narrates most of them for NLS. I have recently finished Strangers in Death so only have a few more to go. I really don't agree that they are too formulaic. The changes we see in the characters, especially Eve, really make the stories worthwhile reading for me.
This series is so great! I was hooked as soon as I started reading the first book. Nora Roberts is an excellent writer. I always look forward to more In Death books!
I love these books as wrell!
I am sooo adicted to this series. I got hooked a few years ago, and have been reading them ever since. I have some read by nls, and some from audible as well. I just started from the beginning recently. It's amazing to see how much eve has changed. It's hard to choose a favorite. Right now, maybe promises in death. Sooo good!!!!!!!
A friend turned me on to this series and I'm really loving it.
Someone turned me on to this series a couple years ago and I'm hooked. I am about halfway through the series and I don't think they are too predictable at all. I couldn't possibly choose a favorite--they are all excellent!
I forgot to mention that I am reading the braille files from Bookshare.
